OUR TEAM

Stefanie Lattner
Founder & CEO
Ms. Lattner's career started working on a team that developed one of the world’s first teleradiology systems at the University of Pittsburgh’s Medical Center which connected trauma docs and neurosurgeons to community hospitals so that smarter decisions were made on when to life-flight patients into the city. She also developed software that reconstructed MR and CT data and differentiated tissue in the brain. From there she was hired by Respironics and served as head of research, amassed a patent portfolio of over 85 patents world-wide related to brain health. This exposure to a more entrepreneurial focus, led her to Innovation Works where she worked as a Portfolio Executive & EIR. She graduated at the top of her class with an MBA with distinction from the University of Michigan, served on numerous boards and has helped to launch several startups, including WeVibin Inc.

Emily Carew
Product Education Lead
Ms Carew is responsible for understanding the science, utility and functions of WeVibin’s products and teaching clinicians, consumers and team members how to maximize their performance with each product. As a clinical trial participant herself, she brings a unique advantage as she is also able to share direct experience.
Prior to WeVibin, Ms Carew served as COO of a medical cannabis company. She is a passionate advocate for WeVibin’s non-pharmaceutical approach is happy to lead our Neurodiverse community outreach efforts.

John Miclot
Board of Directors
Mr. Miclot is a venture capitalist with Hawkeye Ventures, angel investor and benefactor of faculty positions of the University of Iowa (Entrepreneurship) and the University of Pennsylvania (Biomedical Graduate Studies). Most recently he served as CEO of Linguaflex, a medical device company with a revolutionary technology to treat obstructive sleep apnea. Prior to that he was the CEO of Tengion Inc., a leader in organ regeneration, was an Executive in Residence at Warburg Pincus and was President and CEO of CCS Medical Inc., a provider of products and services for patients with chronic diseases. Prior to joining Warburg and CCS Medical, John was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Respironics, Inc., and Chief Strategic Officer and President of the Homecare Division. John was instrumental in leading the acquisition of Respironics by Philips Medical for $5 billion. Earlier in his career, Mr. Miclot served in various positions at Healthdyne Technologies, Inc., including Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing with Healthdyne being acquired by Respironics. Miclot is a director of Wright Medical as well as director of Dentsply and serves as Chairman of the Board of Breathe Technologies, as well as a director of Tippie Business School, the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium, Burger King Cancer Caring Center, and Central Catholic High School. John also volunteers as a firefighter in his local community, winning Firefighter of the Year in 2022.

Eric Close
Board of Directors
Mr. Close has a long track record of success as a serial entrepreneur and angel investor having founded, acquired and scaled several companies across multiple industries. His expertise is in building and managing early stage platform businesses to disrupt traditional industries through the development and commercialization of data analytics, software, robotics technologies and sales channels. He has served as the CEO of Flash Surgical, who developed technology to make laparoscopic surgeries, faster, easier, and safer; TrueLearn, who developed mobile learning tools that prepare medical students, residents, and practicing physicians to achieve their maximum performance on high-stakes licensure examinations; Redzone Robotics which developed wastewater inspection robots; and PartsZone which was a merger of two companies that served the construction industry. Prior to that, Mr. Close served as VP of Sales for Blue Fish Labs that developed products for and provided services to the e-business marketplace.
